Remote start; on-site return planned for September. Are you a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong development background? Would you like to support a leading financial services organization?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in NYC.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:

Decommission systems, bring new systems online
Navigate between multiple systems: legacy/new
Leverage GitLab, Nexus, Jenkins, and Maven
Support deployment and automated builds/releases

Requirements of the DevOps Engineer:

Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent
At least 10 years of relevant experience
Must have experience with development and DevOps
Experience with Java, C#, and C build and deploy
Familiarity with Windows development and deployment
SDLC: GitLab-based automated build and deploy
Ability to build automated testing and test coverage
Some scripting experience: Shell, Python
Financial services experience preferred
