Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Instructional / Learning Experience Designer to join our Ads Global Product Solutions team to help develop best-in-class Ads education for our new eLearning platform. Our teams mission is to provide effective learning solutions that will empower all our sellers to use our ads products with ease, clarity, and insights. As a member of this team, you will create training tools and learning experiences that will help our sellers build the knowledge, skills and abilities they need understand how to best leverage our self-serve ads products to grow their business. In this role, you will be on our product content team, working directly with our Ads eLearning lead and in close partnership with our product management, product development, Design, Go-to-Market, Customer Service, and Voice of Customer partners. We are in the very early stages of our eLearning journey and are looking for someone to help us shape the future trajectory of our program. Who you are: You are a strong, innovative instructional designer, with excellent grammar, attention to detail, project management skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams across the globe. You have a proven track record of designing, managing, and delivering dynamic and effective learning content, keeping the end user in mind. You are the kind of person that loves thinking through end-to-end learning solutions, with a knack for translating complex concepts into simple and engaging courses, video tutorials and guides to learners across the globe and are confident in your ability to write video scripts.

Responsibilities:
  • Design engaging, informative, and compelling educational material (courses, curriculum, guides, and etc) for a variety of audiences
  • Develop and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in an effort to collaborate on skill gaps and learning priorities
  • Strong partnerships with PMs and Product Developers, Voice of Customer, Design, Markets, Customer Service, Learning platform partners
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to translate their knowledge into comprehensive learning solutions, including the definition of learning objectives, content flow, activities, and knowledge checks.
  • Lead course development for new features; regularly assess and update learning materials, ensuring that they are consistent, up-to-date and in line with products releases and larger learning initiatives
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learners performance and develop comprehensive measurement strategies to assess content effectiveness and impact
  • Ensure and maintain a consistent learner experience and branding for both on-and off-platform learning initiatives
  • Communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written form and deliver engaging presentations to business leaders

Qualifications:
  • BA in Instructional Design, marketing, media or related field
  • Proven working experience in instructional design, course development software (Articulate Rise & Evolve preferred) and at least one LMS
  • Experience evaluating the educational quality of training and providing executional feedback
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
  • An innovator who uses data and technology to invent new yet practical and effective learning solutions specific to the environment
  • Native English speaker who is a strong, clear writer with excellent grammar and the ability to write effective, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, remain focused, and still hit deadlines amidst frequently changing requirements
  • Comfort asking questions and tracking down answers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong sense of initiative and follow-through with a proactive and open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results
  • Ability/willingness to learn complex, sometimes technical, concepts quickly
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive courses, video tutorials and guides
  • Experience editing content in other languages and working with translators
  • Experience in Advertising, B2B, B2C or E-Commerce context is preferred
  • Experience working independently in a cross-functional team, including geographically dispersed partners
