Associate

Associate (Apollo Management Holdings, L.P. – New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Offered salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per year. Provide the mathematical and quantitative analysis for capital solutions to GPs. Work as part of the GP Solutions team on all stages of the investment and ongoing portfolio monitoring processes. Conduct financial modeling and analysis, company and industry research, portfolio management, and idea generation. Provide analytical and project support for all investment-related activities including further building financial models. Conduct deep company and industry research and develop investment committee memoranda and materials aimed at creating superior solutions for the business. Manipulate company and industry data to identify statistical trends and run performance analytics. Forecast business performance by building multi-scenario financial models and run sensitivity analyses to identify the quantitative impact on performance under various stress tests. Position based in New York, NY; telecommuting permitted up to once per week.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related investment field. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint; financial modeling; and, valuation analysis. Experience may be gained concurrently. Position based in New York, NY; telecommuting permitted up to once per week.
