PART-TIME TAX ACCOUNTANT - WANTED

Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing of individual, business tax returns for Partnerships, S Corporations, C-Corporations and Non-Profits Organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients.
2. Conduct detailed tax planning and preparation of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
3. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
4. Manage and maintain the company's tax database.
5. Ensure compliance with state federal and international tax law through a series of systems and system controls.
6. Negotiate any assessed penalties impose by Federal and State Department of Taxation for our clients.
7. Work on Offer-In-Compromise with Federal and States.
8. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
9. Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
10. Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
Qualifications
1. Must possess active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax planning and preparation.
3. Strong understanding of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
4. Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
5. Proficient in tax software and MS Office.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting set deadlines.
9. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
