Together, we are on a quest to change banking for good.Senior Associate, Treasury Management Onboarding Process Manager - McLean, VA / Melville, NY / Richmond, VA / Plano, TXThe Treasury Management Onboarding team in Commercial Banking is looking for an experienced associate to join our team, responsible for Treasury Management Onboarding processes. Treasury Management Onboarding is a critical function in delivering for our client’s treasury management needs and executing on an exceptional onboarding experience is critical to our success as an organization. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to lean-in and enable tangible results that will make the Onboarding experience more seamless for our clients and associates. A change agent is needed to manage the various business changes that impact the Onboarding process (product launches, enhancements, technology changes, etc.) while constantly evolving the experience to feel more seamless for our clients.The candidate we are looking for should be a self-starter with superior problem-solving skills, strong business judgment and effective written and oral communication skills especially when engaging senior management. They should be able to synthesize information and explain change implications visually through a variety of tools. The ideal candidate will also possess foundational knowledge of human centered design and its application to our client-impacting business processes, as well as an understanding of Capital One’s risk management and process excellence culture.Responsibilities include:
Writes, creates and Updates Procedures and Policy Artifacts and communicates changes as appropriate
Create and maintain FEMA, SIPOC, RACI and other Process artifacts as required
Engage with various business partner and project teams to develop solutions for potential impacts to Client Servicing processes
Actively engages and leads improvement teams to resolve breakdowns in the Treasury Management Onboarding processes as identified thru issue and event management routines
Maintains Treasury Management Onboarding process documentation, including procedures and process flow diagrams, and communicates changes as appropriate
Maintains business continuity plans for business-critical processes within the Treasury Management Onboarding processes; communicating changes as appropriate
Assess and implement enhancements to various controls
Participates in key process governance routines including process refreshes, control testing, audits, and related business reviews
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
At least 2 years experience in process management, project management, or risk management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree or MBA
At least 2 years experience in human centered design
At least 2 years experience in client and sales management
At least 2 years experience in banking, lending, cash management or operations
At least 4 years experience in Process or Project Management
Accredited Product Management, BPM, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
