Together, we are on a quest to change banking for good.Principal Coordinator, Commercial Payment Operations - Richmond, VA / Melville, NYAs a Principal Coordinator in Commercial Payment Operations, you will execute activities in a fast-paced, multi-function, multi-team operation tasked with delivering an exceptional end-to-end payments experience for our customers.Summary of Responsibilities:Completes a high-volume of inbound and outbound phone calls dailyFulfills various requests related to customer paymentsProvides a positive client experienceResearches and resolves a wide variety of issues and queries using independent judgment with little or no assistanceInputs data changes on a wide variety of accountsFollows direction and executes tasks efficiently following procedures and meeting regulatory and customer experience requirementsMay make effective independent decisions, when necessaryWorks with management to identify process improvementsContributes in project settings in a limited capacityReviews and processes incoming/outgoing wire requestsApproves wire transfers and related transactionsContacts customers for wire authorizationInvestigates and resolves customer issues with little or no assistanceProvides support to customer-facing associates for international and domestic wiresMay be trained to support multiple payment processesBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificationPreferred Qualifications:At least 1 year of banking experienceAt least 1 year of customer service experienceAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.Capital One is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
