Arconic is currently in search of Advance Mechanical Apprentice to join our Maintainence Team in Massena, NY. Resumes are being accepted for advanced entry-level apprentices for the Plant Maintenance Mechanic trade. Prior experience and educational training will be evaluated according to apprenticeship guidelines. Basic Qualifications - Have a High School diploma or GED.- Be willing to work any shift, including rotating shifts and weekends.- Be physically qualified.- Submit proof with your resume of work as a Mechanic in the following areas: Hydraulic Systems, Machine Tools, Pipefitting, Cutting and Welding, Sheet Metal Working, Machine Maintenance and Repair, and other related mechanical areas.- Applicants must provide proof of having taken mechanic related apprentice courses for the mechanical trade. Preferred Qualifications - Possess an excellent work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment.- General Plant Mechanic Journeyman papers are preferred.
