Senior FP&A Analyst

Description Building financial models that will enable senior leadership to make effective decisions about the company's cost base and revenue projections Presenting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant financial data to senior leadership - partnering closely with key leaders to impact strategic business decisions Working on a variety of special projects that may include M&A, financing's, new business initiatives, etc. Owning budgeting process including annual review and analysis, assigning department specific budgets, and tracking monthly/quarterly actuals vs. budget Collaborate with the Accounting team on a variety of initiatives, including but not limited to the monthly close process Plus 1-2 years investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance (FP&A) role at an pre-IPO company Minimum of 2-3 years of of experience in FP&A role at a high-growth startup Deep understanding of variance analysis, P&L, and management reporting Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills Our client is a startup that has just secured nearly $80 million in their series A last year and will be heading to their series B later this year. They are looking for a senior FP&A analyst to report directly into the CFO, this candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, developing financial models and general FP&A.
