[Remote] Part-Time Service Technician for Analogue Audio Equipment

This is a remote, freelance position. We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician to offer adjunct repair services for our team as needed. Our company distributes high-quality European audio equipment, and we need a dedicated technician to service and repair a range of analogue audio devices. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for audio technology and a keen eye for detail. We are located centrally on Long Island, but may be able to accommodate candidates in surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

· Diagnose, repair, and service analogue audio equipment including amplifiers, and pre-amps.

· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of audio components and electronics.

· Develop familiarity with our small portfolio of premium audio brands

· Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work performed.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in repairing and servicing analogue audio equipment.

· Expertise with amplifiers, preamplifiers, power supplies etc.

· Experience with surface-mount components is a plus.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Proximity to our offices on Long Island is a bonus, but we can ship equipment to any suitable candidate in the tri-state area.
