SURVEILLANCE INVESTIGATOR

Opportunity Summary:
We are seeking a qualified surveillance professional to become a valued member of our Surveillance Investigation team. The ideal candidate for this position must be a proactively motivated individual with the ability to work independently and discreetly, deliver detailed reports on time, and work varying hours, including nights and weekends to perform surveillance activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize various surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
Document and report observations, activities, and any relevant information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to write detailed reports electronically using Microsoft Word and to upload video/digital photography.
Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement agencies as needed to gather information and coordinate efforts,
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards in conducting surveillance operations.
Ability to deliver work on a timely basis.
REQUIRED:
High school diploma or GED
Must be 21 years or older.
Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to start/end work at “off hours” (i.e. very early morning or late nights).
Must currently live in the New York/New Jersey area (work is in predominantly in the NYC area).
Must be willing to travel to/from/in Long Island and NYC – 5 Boroughs.
Ability to pass DMV check, background check, and drug test.
Valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle transportation.
Proficient in utilizing laptop computers, video cameras and cell phones.
Good time management skills.
DESIRED:
1+ year of experience in investigative surveillance.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual communication skills.
NYSIF surveillance experience is a bonus.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Job Classification:
Non-Exempt – Per diem
Salary:
The Per Diem hourly pay range for this role is $22-27/hr. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
