Seeking a hairstylist for busy salon in downtown Ithaca

Luna Love Holistic Hair Studio seeks a responsible, creative, and motivated cosmetologist to work in a relaxing and positive salon studio. Luna Love is a healing, tranquil space that offers cruelty-free products, organic hair services, and Reiki.

Requirements:

- An up-to-date NYS cosmetologist license or in the process of transferring a license

- A minimum of 3 years experience in the beauty industry

- At least 3 references

- Excellent customer service skills, reliability, responsibility, and the ability to manage scheduling and client contacts

- Ability to work independently and manage your salon booth and schedule

Compensation will be discussed during the interview and either commission-based or booth rental, depending on experience. I am open to someone fresh out of cosmetology school who wants to use organic and cruelty-free products

Luna Love is located in the beautiful historic Dewitt Mall building in the heart of downtown Ithaca.

Luna Love will provide a booth, chair, towels, back bar, tea, and refreshments for clients. You would be responsible for your tools, and styling products that are approved by the owner, that meet standards of cruelty-free and natural. As well as approved colors, lighteners, and powders.
