Night-time Line Cook

Bickering Twins is a Latin American restaurant in downtown Ithaca. Due to Covid 19, our menu is currently paired down to primarily offer only tacos along with a few salads, chips and salasa/guacamole etc. We are looking for a line cook to work evening shifts on the griddle station, where you will primarily cook taco fillings and assemble tacos in high volumes in addition to making salads. Two years of professional kitchen experience is encouraged. We work with a paired down team so efficiency and ability to multi-task is a necessity. Applicants must also be willing to do prep-work and dishes.

We are looking to fill 2 part-time positions. Position 1: Sunday and Tuesday nights

position 2: Friday and Saturday nights

The shifts run from roughly 3 pm to somewhere between 10:30 and 11:30 pm. Some days may require coming in as early as 2 pm.

Any selected applicants will start with a 2 week-trial period before being hired to make sure the job is the right fit for them and vice versa. We are looking for people who are excited about food and the hospitality industry and who are ready to work hard and help create a solid and healthy team atmosphere.
