Experienced Painter - Rockland County

Overview

Aquinas Painting Contractors is a Residential and Commercial painting company serving Rockland County and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a Painter with at least 5 years experience to join our team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, cleaning, and sanding as needed.

Apply primer, paint, or other coatings to surfaces with a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, and

sprayers.

Use masking tape and other protective materials to cover surfaces that should not be painted.

Fill cracks, holes, and other imperfections in surfaces with putty, plaster, or other materials.

Ensure that work areas are kept clean and safe at all times.

Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with other painters, supervisors, and clients as needed.

Paint areas within the expected time frame while providing a quality finished product.

Pressure washing experience.

Qualifications

Maintains a valid and current driver's license.

Has reliable transportation.

Ability to work and communicate with others in a professional manner.

Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

Successfully complete assigned tasks within the allotted time.

Possesses strong communication and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.

Good time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work environments.
