As an individual contributor you will do the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Scheduling appointments, meetings, and follow up calls
Maintain CRM/Database, groups, classifications and subscriptions
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest (LinkedIn, Hoovers, etc.)
Canvassing visits to existing client’s locations, identify neighbor opportunities
Team with channel partners and vendors to cultivate relationships and increase sales pipeline
Understand customer needs and requirements
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team member for further development and closure
Attend company sponsored industry, educational, or community events
Weekly Meeting and Reporting of activity
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Working knowledge of CRM database software
Strong/Developed Interpersonal Skills (e.g. communication skills, active listening, and customer-care)
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
Keyboarding skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of data
Organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines for projects
Experience in Customer Service, Marketing or Sales preferred
EXPERIENCE YOU NEED: Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree
0-5 years successful sales experience
Excellent systems literacy knowledge in MS Office
A goal-oriented drive and proven ability to reach and exceed monthly/yearly quotas.
Working Conditions:
