HILLCREST FOODS- WAREHOUSE ORDER PICKER/$15-$18 HR (Saratoga Springs)

Entry level shipping positions. Great attitudes and strong work ethics are a must. Hillcrest takes all steps to ensure and maintain a drug free working environment. All applicants must be able to safely operate a wide variety of forklifts safely and efficiently (training and certification provided), effectively move product within the facility and on and off trailers at our docks. No experience required but will be considered when calculating pay rates. Starting pay rates range from $15 to $18 per hour based on experience. Shipping schedule is Sunday-Thursday with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Position Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

 Follow all Hillcrest SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).

 Become efficient and knowledgeable with the WMS (Warehouse Management System) and RF scanning devices.

 Safely operate a wide variety of forklifts safely and efficiently

 Become competent and efficient in all duties assigned.

 Maintain a high level of attention to detail with all work performed.

 Effectively maneuver equipment within the warehouse and outside yard and follow all safety guidelines.

 Uniforms will be furnished, employees must maintain a clean, neat appearance at all times.

 Any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

 18 years of age

 High School Diploma/GED

 Food service distribution or warehousing experience preferred but not required

 Be able to provide yourself with adequate transportation to accommodate any shift you are assigned to

 This position must pass pre-employment fit for duty screening and drug testing

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

 Frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms

 Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

 Multi-temperature environment

 Must pass a pre-employment screening which includes a "fit for duty" exam and a drug screening.
