GHD is looking for a mid to senior level

Java Developer to join GHD's Advanced Automation Team as a key contributor in building a best-in-class product for one of its emerging digital business sectors. This role can be performed

remotely, or aligned to any of our US GHD offices.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

Make high-quality business level decisions when integrating business objectives
Deliver standard processes and lessons learned to the design of an agnostic platform
Work within an agile team while providing direction and focus as a key contributor
Work directly with the platform team members delivering high quality code for a micro-service ecosystem
Support product management requests as development of the product evolves

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
Experience in building reactive, object-oriented business applications using Java; Quarkus or Spring-Boot experience a plus
Hands-on experience developing a micro-service ecosystem for different business requirements
Experience with translating business requests to code; Testing the code to ensure the request is fulfilled and considered complete
An understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps operations, and Linux
Knowledge in developing a CI/CD pipeline and other DevOps operations; Linux knowledge a plus
Experience with frontend development a plus; Vaadin, GWT, TypeScript, JavaScript
Experience or knowledge of data structuring, data ingestion, and interconnection of services
