Aveanna Healthcare is looking for LPNs to work with local Skilled Nursing Facilities, Primary Care offices, Hospitals, and school districts. This position offers flexible scheduling along with higher pay rates than other companies in the area. We will provide onboarding bonuses of $250 and consistency bonuses up to $1,000. Job Duties:Adheres to the policies and procedures of the facility/unitPossesses the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate care for patients assigned by the facility/unitCommunicates effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workersConducts ongoing assessments as determined by patient’s condition and/or the client facility’s policies, procedures or protocols and reprioritizes care accordingly.Performs appropriate treatments as ordered by physician in an accurate and timely manner.Documents patient assessment findings, physical/psychosocial responses to nursing intervention and progress towards problem resolution.Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient, family and client facility staff.Reports patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift.Supervision of LPN staff is managed by facility personnel.

Preferred Experience:

Two (2) years Med/Surg experience

Qualifications:Graduate of accredited LPN ProgramCurrent active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of placementAt least one (1) year of experience as an LPN in the United States (preferred)Current CPR certification. Evidence of BLS and all additional required credentials specific to nurse specialty and as designated by facility/unitProvide care using infection control measures that protect both the staff and the patient according to OSHA standards.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to speak, write, read and understand EnglishMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsProlonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twistingMust be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance

Environment:Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditionsPossible exposure to blood, bodily fluids and infectious diseases
