Description Manage your own book of business Oversee all aspects of preparing and filing non-immigrant (L, H, TN, O, E) and immigrant (PERM, I-130, EB1A, B & C, I-140, I-485) petitions and applications with government agencies and consulates Be able to handle a high-volume caseload while still providing exceptional one-on-one client service Speak with clients on a daily basis to provide updates on cases and new developments Manage paralegals and case managers, delegating work on a daily basis Stay current on business immigration law developments Advise clients on I-9 and EVerify compliance and corporate immigration policies and strategies Counsel clients through the PERM labor certification process JD from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school Member in good standing of the NY State Bar (or ability to waive in to NY Bar) 6+ years of high-volume business immigration experience, dealing with both large to mid-size clients Must have a portable book of business Preparing and filing all aspects of immigrant and nonimmigrant visas Must have direct client contact with excellent client servicing skills Excellent docket and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Boutique business immigration firm.
