NOW HIRING-Lead HVAC Technician

$1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions available

The Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO) is seeking a full-time Lead HVAC Technician to repair, maintain, or install heating, air conditioning and/or refrigeration systems.

More specifically this position will:

Install heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment at CEO sites or customer homes

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the scope of work is properly executed in a safe and timely manner

Diagnose problems and/or failures in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Respond to emergency situations (e.g. heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, water main breaks, etc.) and assist with necessary intervention for safety

Identify necessary tools for the proper completion of each job, transport or deliver items as necessary to job sites

Provide information to customers relating to the proper use and care of their equipment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in HVAC, construction, building trades or a combination of equivalent academic training

Valid and Clean NYS Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

OSHA 10 Certification

Previous experience working in customer homes
