Job Summary

This is a remote, work from home positiion.

Technical inside sales of instruments and analyzers for safety, process control, pollution control, quality control, hvac, and combustion analysis. Customers include manufacturers across all industries, universities, utilities, hospitals, and oem accounts. Typically selling to engineers, often also safety managers and facilities managers.

We are a 20+ year old company with a stellar reputation. Most product lines are exclusively represented in Upstate NY. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities of the position include: - sales of product lines that we sell via our inside sales team (instead of our outside sales force), supporting the sales efforts of our outside sales force, maintaining information in our crm (goldmine), follow up on leads and quotes, outbound sales calls to existing customers to introduce new products and find new sales opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have a minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience in technical sales, preferably to the industrial/manufacturing markets. Must be: a self-starter willing to learn new products and applications; organized; adept with crm and ms office software; honest and ethical; and looking for a long-term inside sales position.

Benefits

Compensation package includes base salary, medical insurance, FSA and 401K (company contributes 3% for all employees, and in most years also does a profit sharing contribution of an additional 1-3%).
