If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking a State and Local Contracts Manager to join our Advisory organization.Responsibilities:Oversees and administers a portfolio of State and Local Government contracts - $50M in revenue, including when KPMG is a subcontractor and resolves contractual related issues
Accountable for contract compliance and reporting for all contracts within the portfolio through the administration and evaluation of policies, procedures and operating practices
Responsible for ensuring contracts related documents are maintained accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with customer and firm requirements
Participates in account planning and go-to-market activities in support of State and Local Government contracts for the Advisory practice at the account level and supports contract negotiations
Review request for proposals, prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, NDAs and SOWs for business and contractual risk
Ensures contracts information systems both internal and external are accurate and maintained according to requirements/procedures
Qualifications:Minimum seven years of professional experience working as a contract professional and experience with proposal preparation and various contract types
Minimum five years of recent experience working with state and local government clients
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Previous experience overseeing a contracts portfolio with $50M plus in active contract/subcontracts revenue preferred
Demonstrated negotiation skills including experience negotiating terms and conditions with both government and industry clients
