TITLE: Senior Commercial Lines SpecialistLOCATION: HeadquartersREPORTS TO: VP Sales & AdministrationCLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non ExemptAVAILABILITY: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pmPosition Summary:Provides information about an insurance company’s products and services to large commercial lines clients. Participates in meetings with clients to gather information and present resulting insurance program. Upon sale of service, acts as a front line contact for clients, answering questions regarding the policy and coverage. Acts as department resource for Commercial Lines Specialists and Commercial Lines Assistants.Essential Job Functions:

Works in conjunction with the broker to consultatively sell insurance products to both new and existing customers.

Retains existing customers by providing industry leading customer experiences.

Ensures completion of requested account and policy updates and changes.

Coordinates the involvement of appropriate agency and or business partners when necessary to resolve customer issues.

Negotiates renewals, prepares proposals and communicates quotes for review.

Education & Experience:

5 years’ experience in managing large commercial accounts.

NYS Broker’s License required.

Associates’ degree preferred.
