Advanced Utility Systems (A Harris Company) is looking for a Regional Sales Director, Eastern USA to join our team!Do you have customer information systems software experience? Do you enjoy motivating and leading a sales team? Are you experienced with selling enterprise to local governments or utilities?This is a remote opportunity within Canada and USA, preferably on the Eastern side of either country.What your impact will be: - Yielding new business and fostering relationships with current clients- Managing, inspiring, and leading the sales representatives- Ensuring sales metrics are met or exceeded- Collaborating with Commercial Operations, Professional Services, legal, and internal team members to negotiate and close business- Collaborating with team members and leaders to improve customer experience- Mastering the product portfolio, to articulate valueSpecifics:- Direct management of a region to maximize sales revenues and achieve BU goals- Develop a clear, achievable forecast for bookings results- Create a comprehensive annual sales strategy for the region- Consistently achieve sales goals/forecasted bookings quotas monthly, quarterly and annually utilizing existing CRM tools; maintains focus on product/service mix, standardized pricing and margins- Contribute to planning of marketing activities, sales efforts, promotions, advertising, conferences, and tradeshows to maximize ROI for the region- Attend external customer meetings, and internal company functions- Present basic software features and functions in congruence with customers areas of focus and priorities- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods- Respond and follow up on sales inquiriesWhat we are looking for: - Minimum of 5 years software sales experience; customer facing in the Customer Information Systems Industry- Preference given for municipal/local government or utility sales experience- Bachelors degree solidly preferred; MBA a plus- Exceptional organizational ability, critical thinking skills, tenacity, and willingness to appropriately accept risk- Ability to travel a minimum of 50%- Comfortable presenting software in front of executives, supervisors, and end users- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially effective listening and customer orientation masteryWhat we offer: - An attractive compensation package- A casual work environment- Full range of employee benefits 401(k), Health Insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability, AD& D)- 3 weeks' vacation, with 5 personal daysHarris is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
