Apply NowFlex Electric is looking for a motivated professional to join our team as Bookkeeper. We have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Bookkeeper who is responsible, accurate and organized. Responsibilities will include: Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis Perform Weekly payroll functions including tax and union benefit reporting Maintain & balance the general ledger in accurate, complete, up to date manner All activities related to accounts payable functions including reviewing, coding and processing payments Perform accounts receivable functions including invoices, deposits, collections and revenue recognition Prepare financial reports for analysis and summarization of data by outside accounting firm. Assist with annual audits Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards NYS & IRS Tax reporting Work closely with project managers for pay applications Work independently and as part of the team to complete work in a timely and efficient manner. Qualifications/Requirements: 3-5 years’ experience with construction business bookkeeping Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Previous knowledge of SAGE accounting system preferred Thorough knowledge of GAAP Previous payroll background Profound attention to details Must display leadership, decision making & problem-solving skills Organizational skills are a must High proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong computer skills Excellent verbal and written communication Outstanding interpersonal skills Salary & Benefits: Salary range between $50k-60k per year based on experience Health Insurance 401k Plan Bonus Plan Potential Paid holidays and vacation time off Flexible work schedulerecblid hdn8e1ze223252my4rtskv3gfo3fzaApply Now
