Job Description

· Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and systematic improvements that prevent work incidents and protect the health of associates, visitors and contractors. (Accident Rate AR, Severity Rate SR, Total Case Injury Rate TCIR).

· Responsible for designing and implementing policies, procedures and systematic improvements that prevent pollution and mitigate the impact of JuP2 on the environment. (Total Waste, Zero Waste to Landfill, Water, CO2)

· Responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining management systems and certifications in the field of environment, health and occupational safety of JuP2 (Certification OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Clean Industry, N93).

Specific Duties

  • Ensure regulatory compliance of government or corporate JuP2

  • Facilitate the continuous improvement of all JuP2 departments in order to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, reduce pollution, and make responsible and efficient use of energy and natural resources.

  • Establish objectives and goals and help the organization to maintain a healthy and safe workplace, reduce our impact on the environment and contribute to the fight against climate change.

  • Keep the Plant Management informed of the current status of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, and propose measures to improve the performance of the organization in terms of Health, Safety and the Environment.

  • Keeping interested parties, internal or external, informed about the main performance indicators of HSE.

Prepare the organization for the prevention of contingencies and in the emergency response.

Qualifications

4YEARS OF EXPERIENCEAS HS&E MANAGER IS A MUST

LEGAL PROCESSES

  1. Knowledge of Mexican legislation in the field of Environment, including the General Law of Ecological Balance and the Federal, State and Local Environment. Knowledge of the Mexican Normativity in the matter of Waste, Water, Soil and Air Pollution.

  2. Knowledge of Mexican legislation on occupational health and safety, including Regulations of the Ministry of Labor, including Safety, Health and Organization Standards.

Knowledge of Mexican legislation regarding emergency care, including the Federal, State and Local Civil Protection Law.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

1. Responsible for maintaining the management systems ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, ISO 50001, Clean Industry.

2. Have competence as a leading Auditor.

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

Knowledge of the environmental requirements that must be met in accordance with the Law and applicable regulations.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY STUDIES

Knowledge of occupational health and safety analyzes required by the STPS and applicable regulations.
