Graduate Systems Engineer

Job Description

We have an opportunity for a

Your focuswill be on management and automation of our computing infrastructure, systems development,integration and support.

• Delivering and maintaining infrastructure for a number of MNF Group business segments
• Enhancing our existing core systems infrastructure using automation and orchestration tools
• Advocating infrastructure automation and ensuringdeployments are repeatable across development and production environments
• Driving continuous improvement, proof of concepts and constantly exploring new technologies, tools and ways
• Working collaboratively with Software and Network teams in deploying and supporting systems and services to achieve engineering best practice.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues within designated business segments
• Working in an
  Agile environment, and helping improve these practices

Qualifications

• Experience in on-premise systems: installing, configuring and maintaining bare metal and virtualized systems
• Proficiencyin
  Linux (Redhat/Centos) and/or Windows Systems administration ordeployment, including automation, performance tuning and resource allocation (CPU/Memory/Disk)
• Experience in
  CI/CD tools, pipelines and version control such as Gitlab
• Continually automate manual processes to drive efficiency and have working experience in tools such as
  Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Exposure in public
  cloud environment/technologies including
  AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, ELB/ALB
• Scripting experience using
  Python as well as experience in using data serialization languages such as
  JSON and
  YAML
• Experience with
  DNS,
  RADIUS servers, and
  LDAP datastores
