This is a remote adhoc Database consulting opportunity to provide as needed Oracle Database development and reporting support. Estimated up to 20 hours a week.

The Oracle Database Developer will be responsible for:Database issues may be presented that the developer would then need to Analyze and offer solutions which could result in data fixes, Application modifications, or new modules within an Application;Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to convert symbolic statements to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language, to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations;Take projects from original concept through final implementation (Software Development Life Cycle: analysis, requirements document, design document, development, testing, client testing application, production, maintenance and client documentation) in a professional and timely manner;Provide Oracle Forms/Reports development, modifications, troubleshooting support;Other duties as needed

The successful Oracle Developer will be:

Proficient in:Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports- Oracle Forms and Reports 11.1.1.3.0;Oracle Database 11.2.0.4.0;Oracle PL/SQL;Shell Scripting (UNIX);Experience, analyzing and creating efficient complex SQL queries;Ability to create new Oracle Forms and Reports without assistance while meeting ASB Standards (message format, visual attributes, etc.).;Ability to analyze user requirements and business processes and offer efficient solutions to any given problem in the DPS Applications.;Project Management, User Support, and mentoring of staff;Well versed in the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and adheres to the Software Development Life Cycle (analysis, requirements document, design document, development, testing, user testing application, production, maintenance and user documentation).
