Full Time Nanny

Family located in Santa Fe, NM (87505) is seeking an active full-time nanny for their 4-year-old, 2-year-old, and 6-month-old sons.

Parents tell PCN, " Our ideal nanny is someone that will be part of the family with a positive and joyful demeanor. Someone who is very engaged with our children, helping them learn and discover each day with developmentally appropriate activities, keeping them active and outside, laughing and stimulated. Arranging playdates in the area, visiting museums and local classes, and occasional school pick up or drop off will also be needed. We also need someone willing to help with meal prep, occasional food shopping, light cleaning, and laundry. It's either very busy here when all the kids are awake and home or very quiet when the 4-year-old is at school and the other two are napping. This time will provide downtime to help with these household tasks. The family would like someone who can be flexible and work in tandem with mom. To care for the children and keep the household running smoothly.

The four-year-old is very enthusiastic and energetic. He loves activities of all kinds, especially with a social component. Enjoys dancing, playing games, cooking, playing tennis, playing soccer, hiking, swimming, all with friends, family, or caregivers. He likes fun! If he's not engaged and gets bored, he will gravitate towards the television, which is ok sometimes, but something we'd like to avoid for the most part. A bit more about the children: the two-year-old is verbal and intelligent. He loves to draw, read, play age-appropriate games and engage in developmental activities like sorting, playing pretend, and working on his numbers and letters. He's a wonderful boy, very sweet, but certainly a 2-year-old, so we need someone with the patience and training on how to work with this stage. At this point, he won't start school until November, so the majority of the nanny's time will probably be with him. However, this may change if we find a program we like for 2-year-olds. The 6-month-old is a very chill baby. He's happiest around his brothers. He's a wonderful sleeper mom who is still nursing and will take the baby most of the time. As he gets older this will shift. Again, we need someone very comfortable with the infant stage. He's starting solids, hungry for more stimulation, and becoming more physically active by the day. The majority of the time the nanny will not have all 3 children. The family would like a nanny who is able to handle all three if needed.

The family is open to a Spanish speaker to provide lessons to their children, not a requirement. Both parents are in and out of the home throughout the day. Dad works in his home office most days. No travel is required, although the family would be open if the nanny is interested. Driving is required, and gas will be reimbursed. A car is not provided; an AWD vehicle would be great for snowy days. The family will be using a payroll company for payment and tax purposes.

The family is seeking vaccinated nannies

Nanny's duties: Children's laundry, cooking for the children, dishes, errands, transporting, and light housekeeping.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months to start with the possibility of moving to 1 year or more

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00-6:00pm additional hours can be offered for date nights

Hourly Rate: $22-25/hr
