Dental Assistant/ CDA

Overview:

Our outstanding private dental practice has an immediate opening for a Dental Assistant in Santa Fe, NM. We provide a superb working environment along with a 4-day schedule and an attractive compensation package that includes health insurance bonus, PTO, and 401k. Starting compensation $36K/yr plus. Dental assisting experience preferred but not a must. We are willing to train the right candidate and assist in obtaining all certifications for a long-term rewarding career in the dental field.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service and impeccable chair side manner

Assist the doctor with all dental procedures

Take radiographs and 3-D imaging of patients

Complete room and equipment sterilization

Review patient charts and ready room for scheduled procedures

Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance

Follow office safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Prior DA experience preferred

X-ray certification preferred.

Dental Assistant license as required by state

CPR Certification

Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced workplace
