Assistant Preschool Teacher

Shambala House Preschool is seeking a warm, caring, and creative Assistant Teacher to join our team!

We are a nature- and play-based preschool that cherishes the wonder of early childhood. This position supports the Lead Teacher in our Pinons classroom, working with children ages 18 months to 2½ years. Each day includes outside free play, song and movement, and hands-on art and sensory projects.

At Shambala House, we honor each child’s unique spirit. Our teaching team is both joyful and grounded—we meet children where they are, with gentleness and respect for their emotions, individuality, and unfolding sense of self. We believe in creating a nurturing rhythm that helps children feel seen, valued, and confident as they explore their world.
