About this Job

To assist with the preparation & the execution of marketing research studies by supporting in the pre-field part of the project, and then compiling, analyzing, and interpreting marketing research data, writing client reports, and constructing presentations .To coach more junior analysts (as relevant) on their projects to help build their confidence & expertise.

Responsabilities

  • Discusses test design, questionnaires, coding, and table preparation with Project Development staff
  • Coaches more junior analysts in the development of their projects
  • Supports more junior analysts in the analysis of study data and provides report conclusions and recommendations, with minimal supervision
  • Reviews & finalizes reports with strong story telling skills
  • If relevant, ensures that forecast summaries fit into the report story line adequately
  • Prepares and presents study results to clients usually in-person
  • Consults with clients regarding general study concerns
  • Drives client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations
  • Develops strategic understanding of industry trends, competition and opportunities of Nielsen
  • Ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while meeting the company's quality standards
  • Good teamwork skills

Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Economics or related field a must
  • 5 years’ experience in Marketing Research
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
  • Very good knowledge on advanced analysis, methods, and tools
  • Good organizational skills, and strong people coaching skills
  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Business acumenAwareness of the clients’ needs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Knowledge of statistics, research techniques, and experimental procedures
  • Knowledge of marketing research
  • Knowledge of in-market data
  • Understanding the principles of forecasting
  • Strong Business English knowledge, both verbal and written (and local language if required)
  • Project management skills
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and people coaching skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen (including business environment and client)
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytically curious
  • High level communication skills
  • Consultative story telling
  • Comfortable working in a digital enabled environment
  • Ability to work within a virtual environment
