We know things are a little crazy right now and there is uncertainty about the future, but here at Urban Hotdog Company we are to continuing to serve our community delicious food while continuing to maintain our high cleanliness standards, and will continue to grow! UHDC is looking to fill positions within our original brick and mortar restaurant at 10250 Cottonwood Park Dr NW as well as our Mobile Kitchen concepts.
Our original location has been open for 8 years as well and we have two mobile kitchens where staff may also work if they are interested. The positions offer a variety of opportunities for personal, as well as professional growth within the company as we look to continue to grow with more concepts, more mobile kitchens, and locations. Employees get a high starting base pay + tips for all positional. Our staff have averaged between $13-$16 an hour the last year and a half.
The restaurant is located at 10250 Cottonwood Park Dr NW, Albuquerque NM 87114. The food trucks go around town to the different breweries as well as do special catering events for ABQ Studios, I-25 Studios, as well as other smaller catering events. Tips To Succeed
Maintain UHDC's high food quality standards
Take responsibility for freshness and quality of items prepared
Follow opening, restocking and closing checklists
Maintain a food safety and sanitized work environment, especially important in todays climate!
Work efficiently with other team members
Handle knives and kitchen equipment safely
Work quickly and positively in a confined area
Desire to learn and develop with UHDC and be cross trained into other positions as needed
Our Expectations
Prepare high quality food items to order with passionate speed
Portion all products, follow the recipes and always make sure food presentation looks outstanding
Complete assigned prep list, efficiently run your station during the shift, follow all recipes and stock food as needed
Prepare a variety of food with different methods of preparation
Assist in ensuring deliveries are received and stored in a timely manner
Label food and ensure proper rotation (FIFO)
Maintain a driven, intense pace with good cleaning habits throughout shift
Other functions as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
Legal age (18+ years old)
Hard working and can multi-task
Works positively in a fast-paced environment
Kitchen experience in high volume restaurant
