Overview Devis is seeking a technical Program Manager to join our growing organization and help drive our programs to success.This person will serve as a Devis Program Manager in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area for Software Development Support. The PM will be responsible for engaging with our programs, technical and business development teams, as well as potential customers to develop solutions based on their requirements and priorities. This will be in support of a proposal effort – contingent offers will be extended Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:- Support cloud-based information technology development projects
- Provide services as required by a specific project and/or as directed by the government Program Manager
- Interface with internal and external clients
- Responsible for execution of project/program plan
- Performs project/program management activities (defining scheduling, risk, change, opportunity, and resource management activities)
- Performs technical review of system design and documentation
- Executes continuous improvement plan
- 10+ years of experience in the IT development field
- 5+ years of experience leading IT teams of 10 or more
- Demonstrated experience in driving DevOps methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Understanding of cloud services including AWS, Azure, and private cloud
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, able to motivate and engage with a distributed team
- Must possess well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in contract negotiations, monthly reporting, cost estimating, and program analysis
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and teams that include subcontractors
- History of successfully meeting program objectives and requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or technical discipline
- Master’s Degree in a related business or technical discipline - preferred
- PMP preferred
- = with an active Secret / DoE Q clearance or the ability to obtain one
