Job Description

Identify, develop, and implement key HR initiatives that will substantially enhance the success of our business, including:

Recruiting and Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment, from identifying and addressing talent requirements to onboarding new hires, always looking to further improve the candidate journey and experience.

· Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and equip them to succeed in role scoping, interviewing, case studies, and decision-making

· Cultivate a robust recruitment pipeline for each role and for future opportunities, with an emphasis on diverse representation following all applicable laws and EEO guidelines.

· In coordination with leadership team and future growth plans, create pipelines of candidates to anticipate hiring needs and turn around candidates quickly to fill gaps.

· Experience utilizing social and professional networking sites and other tools to identify and source candidates in a creative, proactive way.

· Manage employment branding in coordination with marketing team by Creating, implementing and monitoring employment marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers.

· Lead the recruiting process including job description creation, hiring manager intake meetings, job postings, candidate outreach/prospecting, interview scheduling/coordination, screening, oversee on-boarding experience etc.

· Responsible for the effectiveness of all recruiting and people operations tools including but not limited to job boards, social media recruitment channels, applicant tracking systems, background checks, etc.

· Develop innovative and interactive onboarding process for all new hires

Training and Development: Work with managers to identify training requirements and design development opportunities to enable all team members to grow in their roles and careers.

Performance Management: Work with managers and team members to ensure robust objectives and performance measurements are in place that align with our organizational goals and vision. Monitor and coach to ensure that feedback is ongoing, effective and timely.

Employee Relations: Provide proactive employee relations to employees at all levels of the organization, including acting as a trusted HR advisor to management in order to build and maintain a high-performing and engaged team. Provide support for managers when needed regarding employee issues.

HR Administration: Work closely with the Office Manager and Bookkeeper to oversee the payroll management, time-off tracking, benefits administration, record keeping and maintenance of team member files, and other related documents.

Programs, Policies, and Processes: Develop, administer, and revise HR policies and programs based on a solid understanding of employment standards and laws.

Culture: Work with CEO to identify and implement opportunities to improve our team member experience and promote our vales. Assess current programs and propose innovative ways to improve existing ones.

Employee Engagement: Plan and organize the company's internal events and social calendar (off-sites, virtual events, team building events, in-office events, lunch ‘n learns, holiday party, etc

Qualifications

· 5+ years of HR Generalist / People Ops experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; bonus points for start-up experience.

· Associates/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field preferred; PHR certification considered an asset.

· Demonstrated success in full cycle recruiting across experience levels and roles (must include some technical) including strong background in sourcing candidates without the use of external recruiters.

· Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR policies and programs.

· Demonstrated experience coaching and advising management in an HR capacity.

· Demonstrated experience handling sensitive employee relations issues

· Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements, HR policies, and best practices.

· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated influence and diplomacy at all levels.

· Meticulous attention to detail.

· Able to work independently. Innovative in ideas and execution.

· Enthusiastic, positive, friendly and a great sense of humor!

Additional Information

This position is remote until the end of the summer. After that, it will be reporting to our office in Florham Park, NJ, which may include some partial remote days
