Job Title: Sr Functional Analyst Start/End Dates: 8/2/2021 - 2/1/2022Work Location: Union, NJ 07083Job Description: We are looking for a Sr Functional Analyst that can join our IT team. We are going through technology transformation initiatives leveraging industry driven software and modern business processes. Our focus is to elevate the customer experience, unlock omni always and transform to a digital first culture. Primary Responsibilities:•Planning & Analysis: Works with the business to assess and understand business requests. Assists business owners in identifying, clarifying, and documenting the objectives and benefits of any project or enhancement request. Help determine ROI on project/enhancement requests. Analyzes, translates, and documents business/user requirements. Prepares and delivers user requirements for project development teams. Analyzes current business processes. Co-ordinates and support business in end user testing.•Solution Design: Independently partners with the business to understand business requests and requirements. Works with Solution Architects to investigate options to meet requirements and participates in architectural reviews. Creates conceptual and functional designs for solutions. Prepares and delivers user requirements and functional designs for project development teams. Documents and recommends functional solutions where applicable. Analyzes and documents current business processes. Recommends business process changes where applicable. •Leadership: Expected leadership activities include guiding a team of developers & IT analysts through configuration, development & support tasks. Duties include but are not limited to, leading discussions on configurations, code review discussions, maintaining & communicating a production release schedule, leading touch base meetings with key stakeholders, participate in technical & functional design, onboarding analysts and developers as needed.•Support: Expected support activities include ensuring the proper maintenance & stability of all applications in scope. Duties include, but are not limited to, ongoing ticket review, communicating status of resolution, impact analysis, facilitating end-to-end ticket resolution, partnering with vendors, proactive problem analysis, escalate as needed and resolution.•Platform Governance: Expected platform governance activities include ensuring integrity of Merchandising systems. Duties include but are not limited to, managing releases from vendors for upgrades, reviewing/mitigating/resolving of error logs & performance issues, data issues.•Standards & Compliance: Expected standards & compliance activities include ensuring the well-regulated use of business user-facing & internal system-facing Merchandising applications. Duties include but are not limited to, preparing for passage of quarterly SOX audits, managing audit trail of all production changes, ensuring IT PMO adherenceJob Requirements •Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent•Extensive experience in gathering requirements, documenting business, process and data flows•Understanding of systems development life cycle including issue, risk and scope management•Complete understanding of the full product development lifecycle (design, development and testing)•Understanding of test strategies, test plans and test execution•10+ years professional experience•Min 5+ years of PIM systems and experience in STIBO a plus •STEP 10.1 + Cloud Experience a plus•STIBO certification is an added advantage•Strong knowledge on PIM architecture and design skills•Good understanding of data relationships and data modeling concepts•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. •Proven track record delivering mission critical, enterprise applications•Excellent verbal and written communications•Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural team•Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones•Strong collaboration skills, ability to mentor and be mentored•Experience in Oracle Retail is a plus
