Innovation.Title : Associate Director, Corporate CounselJob Summary:The Corporate Counsel is an in-house counsel role reporting to the Company’s Vice President and General Counsel. He or she will be responsible for the legal work on complex commercial transactions for both Sun and Taro, including global business development deals – both in-licensing and out-licensing transactions – and will also work closely with the General Counsel advising the Company’s business leaders on critical issues such as market access and the launch of branded products. This role involves significant interaction with business leaders throughout the organization and external parties as well as other members of the Legal team.Requirements and Qualifications:A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with high academic achievement is required

Minimum of at least 3 years of licensed practice is required.

Experience in an in-house pharmaceuticals and/or life sciences organization and/or experience representing clients in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry at a large firm is highly preferred. Experience advising pharmaceutical companies on market access issues is preferable.

Strong business sense and ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements.

Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with executive and internal staff as well as external parties.

Humble with a strong commitment to excellence.
