Marketing Insights Analyst – Survey 21-00102

40.00-45.00 Per hour w2

Parsippany, NJ (will work remote until Covid restrictions are lifted)

Overview:The Insights Analyst, provides support to the company's Insights in the execution of Voice of the Customer and Market Research initiatives, the results of which will drive company's overall Brand, Product, Advertising,

Marketing and Customer Program strategy selected individual must have strong experience in developing, analyzing and presenting surveys using tools such as Survey Monkey, Qualtrics other online survey toolsThe Insights Analyst is responsible for assisting the various functions across the company with marketing research, consumer and customer insights projects to drive the strategy for new product development, branding efforts, contractor programs and other key aspects of marketing.

This role is focused on conducting marketing research, surveys and analysis by leveraging company tools or through managing vendor relationships.

The Ideal Candidate: Will have an analytical mindset while being intellectually curious as they help develop and deliver the information that will drive and support Marketing Strategy.This person is a listener and asks questions while working with their customers to clearly identify needs upon which to base and develop market research plans.Ideally would like someone local, but willing to consider candidates non local if they are really solid.

Market Research
  • Partners with senior Insights resources and outside vendors to conduct relevant market research projects
  • Presents data to business owners, as well as senior management, to give insight on our business
  • Supports other departments research needs on request including but not limited to Contractor Program, Events, Finance/Insurance Marketing, Brand, Creative Services and Sales.
  • Develops and launches questionnaires, conducts analysis, delivers results
  • Partners with the direct marketing team, marketing services and legal to launch surveys to our customer database
  • Supports Panel creation, execution and management

Technical knowledge/skills (entry, intermediate, advanced)
  • Experience with Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (advanced), and Word (advanced)
  • Experience with Qualtrics or other online survey tools (Strong experience with Survey tools)
  • Experience in Marketing (intermediate)
  • Experience conducting analysis and sharing actionable insights (intermediate)

General knowledge/skills (entry, intermediate, advanced)
  • Strong communication skills (intermediate)
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to effectively manage a large workload (intermediate)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (advanced)
  • Time management skills (advanced)

Education/ExperienceBachelor's Degree mandatory; preferred degree in Marketing or General Management, but other business majors such as Finance, Accounting, Economics as well as Engineering majors, will be considered if the candidate has an interest in Marketing.

College graduates or professionals with 3-5 years of experience in marketing, creating surveys, marketing research or marketing analytics.
