RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior C# .NET XML Developer in Parsippany, NJ.
Summary:The Senior C# .NET XML Developer is expected to multi-task across the design, code, and unit test complex system functionality, and document system design. You will advise senior architects on best possible solutions to a given problem and support business users in the use of tools and applications required to do their job. The Senior C# .NET XML Developer will support enhancements and project activities for Commercial risk and custom applications, as well as provide support for break/fix activities as needed. You will also collaborate within a team of developers and work in an international team environment and identify opportunities to improve processes and applications.Responsibilities:Proactively working with business analysts and partners to: Senior C# .NET XML Developer will identify, develop, and implement solutions and problem resolutions Identify and document application gaps and issues, as neededAnalyst will work with Business Support Counterpart(s) and business analysts to: Devise and implement solutions to support .NET applications and as needed other systems across Commercial business functions Manage expectations of the deliverables with functional business analysts, business partners, and support as solutions and problem resolutions are executed and delivered As a Senior C# .NET XML Developer, you will be providing support to other sanctioned initiatives as required Support urgent production issues as needed Design, code, and unit test complex system functionality; Document system design; Advise senior architects on best possible solutions to a given problem Responding to other activities and initiatives deemed necessary to ensuring successful day-to-day operations and urgent or crisis type requests otherwise supporting the Objective and Vision of the IT organizationREQUIREMENTS: BS in relevant education; Computer Science or related degree, MS or MBA would be a plus 5+ years of work experience within an IT organization for mid-sized organization with multiple locations a plus 5+ years of related professional experience, developing, maintaining, and supporting applications, experience with ETRM systems a plus; Experience in domains energy trading and risk management, real time trading, securities (if possible) 5+ years of demonstrated skill designing mid-size .NET web applications or whole modules for enterprise .NET web application Ability to contribute to designing all aspects of the architecture of PBF applications, including components such as user interface, middleware and providing requirements to infrastructure and DBAs, and others as needed Ability to architect and design solutions using current architectures, and implement small to large scale solutions adopting various technologies automating business process models Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal - excellent communication (written and verbal) with ability to interact at a technical and non-technical level with infrastructure, network, development, and BA teams Experience working in vendor software solutions is a plusPreferred Technical Experience: Experience developing in the C# language Demonstrated skill in communicating designs to developers and non-technicians Object Oriented Programming concepts Common Design Patterns - ASP.NE 2.0 (Web forms), .NET Framework and design patterns in Microsoft .NET technologies using C# Well versed in XML/XSLT - Experience on handling XML features and Web Services in .NETKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
