Baker/Pastry Cook

Brownie Points Bakery, a small boutique bakery in Summit, NJ is looking for talented, creative bakers to join our team. Be able to work with high quality ingredients and know we create our entire assortment completely from scratch. Pies, muffins, cakes, cookies and our famous "duffins" - the original donut muffin are just some of what we do.

Weekends are required as we participate weekly in the local Summit Farmers Market. All other hours are flexible

QUALIFICATIONS:

Culinary degree or experience required

Passion and love for food

Strong Knowledge of baking and pastries

Creative

Flexible and works well with others

DUTIES:

Ensures the accuracy, quality and consistency of foods produced

Responsible for creation of baked goods and desserts applicable to the bakery menu

Maintain effective working relationships with staff and customers
