In this dynamic Product Manager role, you will be involved in identification and development of new Automotive Aftermarket Tool products, as well as provide product pricing, advertising & social media content creation and management of campaigns. Candidates for this position should have a strong interest in automotive repair and knowledge of combustion type motors. Position Duties:
  • Perform the research, identification and development of new Automotive Aftermarket Tool products and market opportunities (i.e. paint & body equipment, dent repair, electronic testers, circuit testers etc.).
  • Collaborate with customers, technicians, vendors, staff and outside partners to develop, test and implement the new products downstream to the market.
  • Conduct end-user and competitive market research to determine pricing, margin and profitability targets.
  • Help create engaging social media content and manage other advertising campaigns and programs
  • Track market trends through analysis of market data

Experience:
  • Product development and management experience in the automotive aftermarket industry
  • Strong interest in automotive repair and working knowledge of combustion type motors
  • Understanding of product pricing, margins and profitability targets
  • Understanding of social media & advertising and the implementation of highly focused campaigns
Nice to have, but not a must:
  • BA or BS in Business, Engineering or other
  • ASE Certification
