Job Description

We are hiring! Broadridge is looking for our next Sr. Technical Writer! This is a role that will enable you to partner with the infrastructure team, producing technical documents, assuring the realization of business benefits and supporting the business process. This is a contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the product documentation guidelines for the product descriptions, user stories, FAQ’s, and other related documentation.
  • Work with product managers, development leads and domain experts to capture project information, analyze documentation requirements, and schedule reasonable delivery timelines.
  • Prepare charts, graphics, and screen captures to illustrate material.
  • Generate documentation for print and online help.
  • Use of MadCap Flare for writing and editing documentation.
  • Provide writing, editing and design support to other team members.
  • Identify new ways in which Broadridge can deliver effective documentation to its customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or another writing-related or Information Systems/Computing-related subject
  • Excellent business and technical writing skills are a must
  • Demonstrated ability working in a technical writer position in the software industry
  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Expertise in MadCap Flare.
  • Experience in technical design, layout and production concepts and practices.
