As a well-being subject matter expert, you will define and target existing problems and create innovative solutions to support a variety of needs. Campaigns to drive awareness and engagement in programs will be a focus as you bring to GDIT your ideas and solutions for how we can all live more abundantly.IN THIS ROLE, A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:Acts as subject matter expert in the areas of well-being (emotional, physical, financial and social) and health management (prevention awareness, early detection and health maintenance).

Drives awareness, engagement and utilization of existing programs.

Creates new programs and implements new vendors to support health awareness, and prevention of certain conditions (e.g., health management, resiliency awareness, sleep issues, behavioral support resources, and early detection of issues).

Establishes a wellness champion network to drive engagement throughout our organization.

Plans employee surveys and creates a communications channel to ensure feedback is part of wellness planning. Analyzes results and presents information for consideration.

Develops metrics to inform decision-making and to establish and define return on investment of new programs; creates dashboards to report findings to leadership.

Understands claims trends to recommend and implement new programs to target prevention of conditions. Manages wellness vendor contracts, develops performance guarantees (PGs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and manage RFP/RFIs.

Partners closely with the benefits strategy team to share ideas, findings, and leverage existing and new programs to drive utilization in all benefits programs (e.g., leave management, case management, condition support, health coaching).

Manages vendor, on-site health coaches across GDIT locations.

Acts as a consultant with internal/external partners to share knowledge, drive strategy decisions, and make recommendations.

In partnership with our Communications teams, develops a comprehensive communications strategy and calendar to bring awareness of our programs through a variety of media.

Hosts opportunities onsite and via webinar for guest speakers, coaches and vendors to connect with employees throughout the year on a variety of wellness options and educational opportunities.

The successful candidate should possess these Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years well-being and health management experience (wellness certifications may be considered in lieu of degree)

In lieu of degree or relevant certifications, 9+ years of related experience is required

Previous experience creating and managing a holistic well-being program strongly desired

Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability working independently and as part of an established team
