Title: Oracle EBS DBADuration: Long term contract with possible extensionsLocation: Newark NJ, remote to start with.Mid to Senior level Expert very much Hand on Oracle DBA with specialization on support Oracle EBS. At least 8 – 10 yrs min experience. Bachelors degree or equivalent. The ideal candidate needs to be experienced in all aspects of Oracle including development, administration, disaster recovery, patching, licensing, and security best practices including EBS. You should be capable of working with a team of Senior Oracle DBA's. The candidate will need to have expertise in the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of large-scale database environments (OLTP / DW). You will manage and support current and future database environments and initiatives. Responsibility includes proactively evaluating and implementing new technology solutions to business requirements, researching and creating best practices for the implementation of new Oracle features and solutions to high volume performance issues. Highly motivated self-starter with leadership qualities, team builder with a great attitude are desired. The candidate should be capable of working in a challenging environment, should be able to multi-task and deliver projects based on expectation. This is not a routine Production DBA job doing daily Operational tasks but much more. DBA should be well rounded to support all aspects of Database Administration and Development life cycle including design, performance tuning, installation, migration, patching, licensing, etc.

• Responsible for Handling Oracle EBS 12.1.3 on Exalogic system.
• Hands-on experience on Oracle EBS 12.2. and installations and upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2.
• Should be able to support SSO, OAM IDM, patching, and upgrade.
• Should be able to support WebLogic with EBS or Non-EBS system
• Cloning and Patching for Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and 12.2 application.
• Should have good expertise in handling WebCenter, patching, and upgrades.
• Oracle EBS workflow troubleshooting and administration.
• Should be able to fix the concurrent performance issue and forms issue.
• Responsible for taking backup of EBS and Databases and fixing any issues.
• Well-versed in installing, upgrading, and supporting all components of the EBS ecosystem including database, application server, etc.
• Supporting Databases in Cloud OCI/ AWS is a must.
• Experience migrating EBS to SaaS solution a plus.
• Identify and troubleshoot Oracle-related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space, and other forms of resource contention.
• SQL and Unix shell scripting expertise are a must to develop DBA maintenance scripts.
• Coordinate with application teams to implement approved changes like DDL, DML, stored procedures, triggers, etc.
• Perform Disaster recovery activities in Production for maintenance activities.
• Implementation of automation to the Database daily tasks using OEM, Scripts.
• Expertise in Oracle database 11g to 19c.
• Expertise in Oracle grid Infrastructure 11g to 19c.
• The candidate should have good experience in Exalogic and Exadata systems.
• Responsible for taking backup of EBS and Databases and fixing any issues.
• The candidate should be able to work on OEM configuration for oracle Databases and Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and 12.2.
• Should have good knowledge and experience on CPU patching for systems.
• Good communication skills with experience to work as a team.
• Should be good in database performance tuning.
• The candidate should be able to support 247 if needed.
• Hands-on Expert on 11g thru 19c and legacy Oracle versions.
• Expert in Migration and upgrades from 11g to 19c.
• Expert in installing and configuring Oracle Apex solutions for optimal performance.
• Well-versed with Handling Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, Backup, and Recovery.
• Well-versed with installation and configuration of OEM.
• Hands-on Expert on Managing Oracle Exadata, ODA, and Exalogic-based DB/application solutions.
• Expertise in troubleshooting all aspects of Oracle Server technologies.
• Unix shell scripting experience to write UNIX shell scripts to help in database administration tasks. Recommending tactical and strategic solutions.
• Performing database performance and query tuning. - Proactively monitoring and maintaining production databases.
• Perform logical database design review and physical database implementations. Work with development teams on all aspects of database design including tables, views, stored procedures, packages, and manage role-based grants.
• Document and provide development best practices. Independently manage own projects from a DBA perspective. Responsible for an end-to-end solution for projects assigned.
• Knowledge of Big Data Technologies including non-Oracle Databases, structured and unstructured data, and implementing and supporting Data lakes is a plus.
