centers.The Mechanical Service Technician (MST) is a field based role, providing mechanical related maintenance functions. This position is very critical

to a smooth operation for our customers' sites, and the MST will be required to

perform repair, preventative maintenance (PM’S), and assist with the

troubleshooting of our customer’s various material handling systems. The

Technician will take the initiative to coordinate with other departments the

activities required for the safe and satisfactory completion of any job tasks.

The Mechanical Service Technician (MST) will represent Honeywell/Intelligrated

on site and will also need to follow our customer’s guidelines for general work

practices outlined on site.Adheres to all department and company standards, operating procedures and safety requirements while contributing to improvementProvides resolutions to mechanical, technical issues; documents all information relating to customer support issues in FSL and trip report; utilizes resources in other departments (when necessary) to expedite the resolution of conveyor related issuesProvides information to the Customer and other members of management to enhance Customer Service successDiagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g. multi-meter, laptop)Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obviousAnalyzes and troubleshoots reoccurring issues and creates an ROI to support the changeResponsible for effective and thorough communication with (or to) individuals or groups and with the customer verbally and/or in writing regarding maintenance or repair informationAssist with cleaning, maintaining, and troubleshooting basic problems with the material handling equipmentOperate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment as requiredPerforms preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g. pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, conveyors, sorters, palletizers, robotics, hydraulic equipment, basic electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according to established proceduresFollow up with customers and other departments to ensure issues have been resolvedCompletes appropriate paperwork in a timely mannerMay be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assignedContinue your education by taking online courses to grow in the organization#CBYOU MUST HAVEHigh School diploma or GED, or equivalent in education and relevant work experience

Minimum one (1) year mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience

MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Ability to work nights and weekends

Ability to travel up to 90%

Valid drivers license

Basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers

WE VALUEAssociates Degree in a technical discipline

Material handling experience in Conveyor, sortation, palletizers, and robotics

Controls Troubleshooting experience

Networking Troubleshooting experience
