Job Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Associate provides first class customer service to consumer and business customers for Bosch Thermotechnology in North America.

  • Provide support and service over the phone and in email to customers and sales staff
  • Pre-order and post order sales support as necessary based on customer inquiries
  • Take ownership of order from point of call to receipt of shipment at customer address
  • Order entry based on specific customer requests. Requires attention to detail
  • Communication with the customer regarding availability, anticipated delivery and other products needed to support their order
  • Assist customers with product/part selection and provide detailed product information in order to maximize the sales potential of each call
  • Adheres to Program guidelines and processes for Call Quality and Order Accuracy.
  • Navigate customers through our website and other self-service options.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years in a customer support role.
  • 3+ years of experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Inside sales orcall center experience.
  • Experience in HVAC/ Hydronic Heating Industry.
  • Experience with CRM, SAPor other ERP systems.
  • Strong customer orientation, communication skills and ability to function as a member of a team.
  • Diplomatic and strong interpersonal skills to handle customer escalations in a professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • A positive attitude and mindset toachieve individual and departmental goals.
  • Organization, attention to detail, and an overall sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Willingness to take initiative.
  • Comfortable with change and leading from where you are.
  • College degree.
