JOB PURPOSE: The position of Park Maintenance is important to the success of Fantasy Island Amusement Park (FIAP) and is key to providing our guests with a clean, safe, and appealing atmosphere.This position is responsible for helping our operation meet and exceed today’s needs of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas. Park maintenance will also be responsible for general projects relating to cleaning, upkeep, and minor improvements.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-Follow directions of direct supervisor to complete the daily assigned tasks-Perform opening and closing checklists to prepare the park for guests-Empty trash and sanitize bins as needed-General up-keep such as power washing, organization, restocking, etc.-Fully clean and sanitize bathrooms on a scheduled basis-Continuous cleaning during operation such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, response to isolated cleaning needs, etc.-Vacuum, dust and polish-Change lightbulbs, air filters, soap, sanitizer, and other replaceable items.-Provide exceptional guest service to everyone who visits the park.QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and EXPECTATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
