Software Developer (Python)

A services company in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Software Developer (Python) for a promising opportunity with their staff.

• Providing input in prioritizing, estimating, and defining acceptance criteria
• Interacting with customers on issues and providing recommendations
• Monitoring and tracking defects to resolution
• Handling all testing activities
• Troubleshooting customer issues
• Evaluating and performing application performance
• Performing other duties, as needed

• 3+ years of experience in developing Web applications using Python and Web API
• AWS experience with Serverless technologies, Deployment using CloudFormation, SAM and AWS CDK scripts
• Experience in implementation of application using container server. Awareness of other basic services
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools, such as Jenkins and Bamboo
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA
• Familiarity with Agile [Scrum]
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

• Certification in AWS
• Experience with PostgreSQL/DB2
• Experience in Data Protection projects
• Production Support background
