job summary:
Position Summary- UX/UI Designer in the NLP, Modeling & Analytics team, focusing on both User Interface Design (what's on each page/screen of a design) and User Experience (The experience for the entire application as a whole). With a focus on user-centric products; contributes to the design's information architecture, builds the navigation, the overall interaction model, and how the user accomplishes their overall goals.
- Has the skillset to zoom into the screen resolution when that's what's required, then zoom back out to the application resolution to work on the bigger picture.
- Employs multiple research and user testing tools to create a continuous feedback loop with the users, focusing on behavior and underlying needs, on outcome over features.
- Helps specify the overall flow and feel of the design, while getting into the specifics of every interaction, taking the application from observation, to ideation, to sketching, to low-fidelity (lo-fi) prototypes, to hi-fi prototypes, to preliminary front-end code that demonstrates designs intentions.
- All while constantly checking in with users to validate key decisions. Degree in UX/UI/Graphic/Web design or a related field preferred or substantial equivalent experience.
- We define design as the rendering of intent and everyone on the team is a part of designing a solution.
