Job Description:

Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables for a larger program which requires engagement from teams across multiple organizations. Communicates the target outcomes, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides visibility into the health of the program. Ensures execution and delivery meets the clients expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, cost. Manages financials for the program, assist with resource planning, and facilitate sync points between business and technology leaders across multiple organizations. Establishes the target outcomes in partnership with the stakeholders and leaders. Establishes and builds relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk. Coordinates and facilitates the program routines - e.g. kick-off, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies across multiple organizations. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to achieve the target outcomes and timeline. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal. Responsible to provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with target outcomes by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures the work delivered complies with Enterprise Change Management standards. Tracks the success metrics and reviews performance with stakeholders and leadership. Manages the financials and assists with resource planning for the program. Provides input to define/improve the Change Management process for the Portfolio. Individual Contributor.

The Global Risk Analytics Technology team within Risk and Finance Technology consists of extremely talented individuals, who can drive and build out industry leading strategic platforms and processes that provide solutions to provide risk management globally.

We are looking for looking for a talented and highly motivated technical project manager who can lead key deliveries for the program. The right candidate will help deliver new functionality to the Global Risk Analytics team to deliver the models, framework and analysis needed to manage Risk and Capital effectively across Bank of America

Role Overview:
  • Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology's Global Risk Analytics team is searching for a talented, seasoned and highly motivated Senior Technical Project Manager. Programs focus on building the next generation model development and execution platform including data sourcing. This platform will leverage a host of interesting technologies including Spark and Hadoop and utilize a unique, user-configurable, workflow-driven, model execution approach. Programs include data sourcing as well migration of models away from existing platforms to the target platform. This is a multiyear effort in a business critical domain. Global Risk Analytics (GRA) is responsible for developing analytics to support risk modeling activities across all lines of business at the Bank. Uses include CCAR, CECL, IFRS 9 and other regulatory and management reports.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience as a senior Technical project manager
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with global teams including identifying risks and dependencies
  • Is comfortable understanding the technical details of the project to challenge team and stakeholders and be the voice of the project including leading key project routines
  • Prepare materials, project plans and lead weekly status reporting for projects with internal tech and external partners
  • Experience in synthesizing complex data into actionable analysis and presentations to non technical partners
  • Key contributor in agile routines including sprint and capacity planning, prioritization and backlog maintenance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate with senior business partners

Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of credit or market risk, CCAR or model development projects
  • Prior experience working within Global Risk Analytics Technology team and/or other Risk Technology teams a plus
  • High level understanding of BAC Enterprise Change Standards is a plus
