Accounts Payable Associate

Description Robert Half has an exciting remote opportunity for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that offers an invigorating work environment among a team of motivated professionals. The candidate in this role will work closely with and report to the Accounting Manager. Other responsibilities include attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department,. The primary focus of this role is matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position.Responsibilities

Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

Accomplish full-cycle A/P

Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

Competent with spreadsheets and databases

Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Command of Expense Reporting

Accounts Payable (AP) experience
